New Feature: Contestant Alias and Transformation System
ISML has launched the Contestant Alias and Transformation feature, effective immediately. For contestants with commonly used aliases, their aliases will now be displayed in small gray text after their names. If the representation corresponding to an alias differs significantly from the representation corresponding to the common name, the contestant will enable the Transformation System. For contestants with the Transformation System enabled, a magic wand button will appear next to their name. When a voter clicks this button, the displayed name will switch to the alias, and the avatar will also switch to the avatar corresponding to the alias representation. Clicking the button again will restore the name and avatar to those corresponding to the contestant's official name. The alias feature is currently active on match preview pages, statistics pages, and voting pages; the Transformation System is additionally active on the voting completion page. In the initial launch period, only a small number of contestants have enabled this feature. The Staff will gradually expand the list of contestants eligible for the Alias and Transformation System.
